What is Veganuary?

Veganuary takes place every January proposing the challenge of a month eating only plant-based meals, each year more people join and maintain that lifestyle once the month is over.

It all started through a trend started by Jane Land and Matthew Glover, a couple from York, UK in 2014. They had the goal of increasing participation, reaching big companies, growing the movement globally and raising awareness about it. Goals they have achieved.

The impact of Veganuary

Every year more people participate in Veganuary. What in 2014 began with a participation of more than 3,000 people in the United Kingdom, in 2022 had the participation of more than 620,000 participants around the world. Plus, 85% of participants on average have continued on a plant-based diet after January. There are also more and more celebrities joining the campaign with the intention of generating a positive impact on the quality of life of their followers. Each year there are more companies joining the campaign as well, either in the workspace or developing plant-based products to expand the options for non-meat eaters.

How can I join?

Veganuary is completely free, visit https://veganuary.com/ to join! As part of your registration, you get free plant-based recipes and information on the impact of plant-based diets. The community is getting bigger every time, so don't hesitate to turn to it when you need support, ideas or exchange experiences to help you during Veganuary and anytime you start your plant-based adventure.

What can I eat?

When you think of plant-based diets, you think of salads, yet you can eat and recreate just about any dish you fancy. Today the options to carry out a plant-based diet are very wide. ASANTÉ is one of them, proteins based on nopal, pea and amaranth recreating traditional Mexican dishes such as cochinita pibil, barbacoa, pastor and ceviche. The seasoning you love now is plant-based.

Evolve your traditions and join Veganuary each year!
